Samsung Recalls Millions of Top-Load Washing Machines

Model numbers and serial information can be found on two labels affixed to the back of the machine. Consumers can also contact Samsung to see if their washer is involved in the recall.

Samsung will offer owners of the recalled washers repairs, refunds and replacements after receiving 733 reports that the washer lids detached during operation, causing injury and damage to owner’s homes.
